Maven
[!NOTE] Maven is currently in Beta. While it is highly capable, we recommend reviewing its Execution Plans carefully before authorizing bulk actions.
Maven is your internal system assistant designed to streamline your daily operations, administrative tasks, and database management without needing to click through complex dashboards.
Maven vs. Knowledge Base
It is important to understand the distinction:
- Knowledge Base: Trains the AI that speaks outward to your customers and leads (via the Inbox).
- Maven: The AI agent that speaks inward to assist you and your internal team.
Capabilities
Maven sits in your dashboard and can interact directly with Magnate's internal database and settings. By simply asking, you can command Maven to:
- Manage Leads & Pipelines: Add, search, and move leads between pipeline stages.
- Automate Cadences: Enroll or unenroll leads into follow-up sequences in bulk.
- Handle Appointments: Query schedules, book, or cancel meetings.
- Analyze Data: Pull analytics on sales performance, team metrics, and revenue without exporting CSVs.
- Administer Settings: Update team configurations, check billing & usage, and tweak company profiles.
Execution Safeguards
To prevent Maven from accidentally modifying or deleting critical data, it operates under a strict three-tier execution framework:
1. Direct Execution (Read-Only)
For simple questions or data retrieval, Maven executes the query instantly and provides the answer.
- "How many leads were added to the pipeline today?"
- "Show me all appointments scheduled for next week."
2. Confirmation Cards (Single Actions)
If you ask Maven to make a single write-action (e.g., updating a record), it will prepare the change and present a Confirmation Card. The action will not touch the database until you explicitly click approve.
- "Update John Doe's phone number to 555-0192."
- "Move the Smith Corp deal to the Closed Won stage."
3. Execution Plans (Complex & Bulk Tasks)
When you ask Maven to perform bulk actions or multi-step tasks, the system intelligently flags the request as complex. Instead of acting blindly, Maven generates a structured, step-by-step Execution Plan. You can review exactly what data it intends to manipulate before authorizing the execution.
- "Delete all leads from last year that never replied."
- "Create 5 new leads from this list and immediately enroll them in the Onboarding cadence."
- "What is our current conversion rate from 'Contacted' to 'Demo Scheduled'?"
Automating Workflows
Maven can execute actions on your behalf:
- "Move all leads older than 30 days in the 'New' stage to the 'Cold' stage."
- "Pause the Welcome Cadence for John Doe."
Tip: Treat Maven as a highly capable administrative assistant that knows exactly how to navigate the Magnate platform.
