Settings

The Settings area is your command center for customizing the entire Magnate experience. It is divided into three main categories: Business, Account, and Other.

Business Configuration

Workspace

Configure global settings that apply to your entire business and influence how the AI Agent interacts with leads.

  • Business Profile: Define your business name, type, and description. The AI Agent uses this context to answer questions intelligently.
  • Business Hours & Timezone: Set your working hours and timezone. The smart scheduling engine strictly adheres to these hours when booking appointments.
  • Default Appointment Duration: Determine the standard length for meetings booked through the platform.

Pipeline Automation & Rules

This is the engine room for your sales process. Here, you configure the building blocks of your CRM:

  • Lead Tags: Create custom tags (e.g., "VIP", "High Intent") to categorize and easily filter your leads.
  • Pipeline Stages: Define the linear steps of your sales process (e.g., "New Lead", "Contacted", "Meeting Booked"). You can reorder stages and mark specific ones as "Closed".
  • Lead Scores: Set temperature thresholds (e.g., Hot, Warm, Cold) to visually qualify leads based on their numerical score.
  • Scoring Signals: Create specific actions that add or subtract points from a lead's score (e.g., "+10 points for replying to an email").

While these building blocks are powerful, the true magic lies in Pipeline Rules.

Pipeline Rules are event-driven automations that advance leads through your pipeline stages without manual intervention. You can create rules based on specific triggers (Events):

  • Message Events: Triggers when a message is sent or received.
  • Appointment Events: Triggers when an appointment is booked, completed, or marked as a no-show.
  • Cadence Events: Triggers when a lead is enrolled in or finishes a cadence.
  • Score Events: Triggers when a lead's score surpasses a specific threshold.

Example Use Case: You can create a rule that says: When "Appointment Booked" occurs, automatically move the lead from the "Contacted" stage to the "Meeting Scheduled" stage.

Data Import Logs

While the actual importing of CSV files is handled directly inside the Leads module, the Settings area provides a comprehensive log of all past data imports. You can view the history, status, and details of your CRM migrations here to ensure your data mapped correctly.

Account & Team Management

Team

Invite your colleagues and control what they can see and do within Magnate.

  1. Navigate to Team.
  2. Click Invite Member.
  3. Enter their email address and select a Role (Owner, Admin, or Member). Roles dictate access to sensitive areas like Billing and Workspace Settings.

Notifications

Configure exactly how and when you want to be alerted. You can set preferences for new leads, incoming messages, and upcoming appointments.

Other

Appearance & Billing

  • Appearance: Toggle between Light and Dark mode to suit your visual preference.
  • Billing: Manage your financial relationship with Magnate. Upgrade plans, update payment methods, and view your current usage limits.

Danger Zone

This section contains irreversible actions and is restricted to Workspace Owners.

  • Delete Workspace: Permanently delete your workspace and all associated data, including leads, conversations, knowledge base documents, and billing subscriptions. This action requires typing the workspace name to confirm and cannot be undone.
